KAB Gallery’s artwork commission process is renowned as the best in the industry. We take great pride and care in ensuring the client receives exactly what they want. Over several discussions, visual examples and a clear brief we ensure that we understand exactly what our client wishes to achieve and that the artist fully understands the requirements. Our expert team are there to ensure that both the client and artist are 100% happy with the result.
Here are a few of our recent favourites:
Commercial Project: The Cowrie at Terrigal
These photos show the piece hanging in the space but the dining room has since been further redecorated with fresh wall colours and interior styling too. Visit the restaurant on the Scenic Highway at Terrigal to see it in person and dine at one of the Central Coast’s treasured restaurants.

By having myself or the KAB Gallery team working for you as an intermediary, you can be at complete ease knowing we oversee the entire commission process. All feedback is welcome and you can feel confident to speak your mind with a professional team who are creative communication experts.
KAB Gallery will coordinate the project from start to finish including installation if required.
Menu – Watercolours for The Cowrie Menu
The chef Dimitris Aronis was seeking a custom order of paintings to feature on his new menus. Local KAB Gallery artist Judith Hoste created a unique set of works which we had digitally scanned and prepared for use on the menus. The result is elegant and mouthwateringly great! A beautiful finishing touch to the experience at the Central Coast’s best restaurant.

Aerial view of the Terrigal Tremblers by Fiona Clark This commission was based on a 91x91cm painting exhibited at KAB Gallery Terrigal as part of Fiona Clark’s solo exhibition “Ocean Girl.” The client loved the original painting but needed lighter colouring and a slightly smaller size for her home. By commissioning the painting at KAB Gallery she was able to custom order the size and ensure the colours were correct for her interior. In addition to this we helped further personalise the piece with the inclusion of several extra details. From the Terrigal Trembler Ocean Swimming Club swimming costumes to the detailed text on the swimmers caps, this piece has many small details that really make it unique and perfect for the owner.

Watercolour painting of a Triggerfish by Kelly-Anne Love Sometimes clients just love a particular stye but cant find the certain subject they prefer. A custom ordered artwork can solve this issue with added opportunities to personalise the artwork. In this instance below, the client was after a specific type of fish in a specific type of art style and palette. Kelly-Anne Love is famed for her paintings of birds, whales and marine life. This was the perfect project for her and it was wonderful to see a unique and beautiful fish come to life on request. Below shows the finished piece framed and ready to send to it’s new owner.

The majority of KAB Gallery artists are accepting commissions right now. If you have an idea but are unsure of the best artist to create the finished work you need, speak with us so we can show you examples of previous works and help with ideas and advice. As you can see, if you desire we can also help personalise the works in subtle ways.
