About KAB Gallery Director Kerry-Anne Blanket

Highly educated and connected in art circles, KAB Gallery’s Director and Curator Kerry-Anne Blanket holds a Bachelor of Visual Arts, Masters degrees in Visual Arts Education (Hons) and Theories of Art Practice from the University of Sydney. Kerry-Anne’s career has taken her from art education to the National Trust of Australia’s museums, through to managing one of Australia’s leading investment art galleries and management of a leading Sydney art and antiques auction houses. While keeping a keen eye out over the Australian art market Kerry-Anne opened her own online and bricks and mortar galleries in 2013, and has recently opened a second space in Sydney’s Upper North Shore.

With ongoing friendships and established work relationships to leading artists, galleries and auction houses, Kerry-Anne can offer premier art consulting and valuation and prides herself on sourcing specially requested works.

As part of her continued academic studies in curatorship Kerry-Anne both furthers her professional development and expands on her academic skills, critical insight and curatorial vision. By working hand-in-hand with Australia’s leading artists, valued collectors and her team at KAB Gallery, she has built an exciting and one-of-a-kind art business and international brand. Praised by collectors and clients throughout the world for her down to earth approach and ability to filter through the broad span of art on the market to pinpoint the perfect quality works her buyers love.

Kerry-Anne regularly contributes and appears as an art commentator and reviewer in magazines, newspapers, TV news and radio programs. Her skills have been called upon on many occasions as an art exhibition judge, guest speaker and external curator.
