Paul Haggith and Greg Jarmaine are both traditionally landscape painters. As two of our client’s favourite artists we were very keen for both of these well-known and respected artists to be part of this exhibition, but the challenge was “how”? Both artists were keen to explore the floral theme, and are excited to bring you some beautiful floral works with a playful twist. The mark of a truly wonderful artist in their ability to apply their technical styles to new and interesting subject matters and medium, and in this case both have excelled. We will be exhibiting several works around the theme of florals, with each work sure to be highly desired collectables.

Sally West is no stranger to florals, as KAB Gallery visitors can attest after viewing her beautiful textured works on display over the last year. This exhibition features all new works from her current floral series, highlighting her exploration of different flower species and colours. Sally West always has a personal connection with the flowers she paints, whether she has picked them on a walk, received them as a gift or purchased them from her local fruit shop. Her titles such as “A Bucket Full of Manly”, “My Birthday” and Flowers from Sunday” give hints of the story behind how each bunch have come to be the inspiration for the work. A highlight for this exhibition is the new ways she has incorporated of striking blues and Australian native floral reds for the exhibition!
