I wanted to make a bright orange painting so I chose to use Brett Whiteley’s “Big Orange (Sunset)” from 1974 as inspiration for the colour scheme for this painting. My aim was not to copy the colour scheme, it was to gain inspiration on the power of the orange colour that Whiteley conveyed so well. Explains Stevon Orlando

Our new Neutral Bay gallery is a large, beautifully designed space filled with incredible original artworks from Australia's leading contemporary artists. Visitors are always welcome to drop in and explore, or collectors can schedule a private appointment for artwork appraisals, valuations, or restoration assessments. We'd love to show you around — use the directions below and come experience the new KAB Gallery Sydney.
Free parking is conveniently located at the rear of Theo's Arcade next to Coles. Take the escalator where you can step off and into the doors of KAB Galley.
