Australian artist Sally West will be visiting Terrigal on Saturday August 15th to paint en plein air.

Sally is no stranger to Terrigal after visiting last year to paint. Her visit to Terrigal late last year to paint en plein air on the beach was a great success. The overcast weather was described by Sally as “the ultimate conditions” and set the perfect scene for one of her most beautiful artwork creations.

KAB Gallery hosted a special exhibition of her recent artworks to coincide with her visit and the gallery looked so beautiful. Her works are textured with the application of thick lashes of oil paint and distinguished by her selection of subtle muted tones. It was great to see so many of her pieces together in the one room and we look forward to showcasing more new works again for her upcoming visit on the 15th August 2015.

It will be a must see event! Visit KAB Gallery under the Crowne Plaza on the Terrigal Esplanade anytime between 10am and 5pm to meet Sally West, see her amazing new artworks and watch her create a new en plein air painting!

Sally West is a big prize winner and has had another great year of wins so far with commendations and finalist positions in almost every competition she enters. Today we congratulate Sally West again! Announced as a FINALIST in the 2015 Warringah Art Prize for her outstanding artwork “Tuggerah Parade – Plein Air”
