Painted en plein air by Australian artist Sally West, this 40 x 50cm oil painting depicts the Royal Prince Alfred Yacht Club on Sydney’s Pittwater.
Created on location, West responds directly to the changing light, water and activity of the harbour. Her distinctive thick application of oil paint brings wonderful texture and movement to the scene, with boats, water and the surrounding landscape interpreted through her loose, expressive approach.

Our new Neutral Bay gallery is a large, beautifully designed space filled with incredible original artworks from Australia's leading contemporary artists. Visitors are always welcome to drop in and explore, or collectors can schedule a private appointment for artwork appraisals, valuations, or restoration assessments. We'd love to show you around — use the directions below and come experience the new KAB Gallery Sydney.
Free parking is conveniently located at the rear of Theo's Arcade next to Coles. Take the escalator where you can step off and into the doors of KAB Galley.
