The Tawny Frogmouth is a remarkable and unique native bird, known for its cryptic camouflage and distinctive appearance. Their ability to blend seamlessly into the tree branches is a key aspect of their behaviour, making them truly master of disguise in the avian world. Despite their adeptness at camouflage, their nest building habit take a rather pragmatic and simple approach when it comes to constructing a nest to nurture their young. This Pencil and Charcoal captures my first encounter with this ‘Master of Disguise’ (for the Ku-ring-gai Art Festival)

Our new Neutral Bay gallery is a large, beautifully designed space filled with incredible original artworks from Australia's leading contemporary artists. Visitors are always welcome to drop in and explore, or collectors can schedule a private appointment for artwork appraisals, valuations, or restoration assessments. We'd love to show you around — use the directions below and come experience the new KAB Gallery Sydney.
Free parking is conveniently located at the rear of Theo's Arcade next to Coles. Take the escalator where you can step off and into the doors of KAB Galley.
