Dave Collins is an Australian abstract artist whose vibrant landscape paintings capture the energy, colour, and beauty of the natural environment. With a degree in Visual Arts and a background in printmaking, his style is defined by layered translucent paints, fine linear details, and a rich, contemporary colour palette.
A pivotal 2023 motorbike journey through Central Australia ignited this latest series of landscape inspired works. The organic shapes and intense desert hues now infuse his work, alongside inspiration from the coastal seascapes and landscapes of home. Working in acrylic allows him to build depth and texture quickly, creating bold yet harmonious compositions that distil natural forms into striking visual statements.
As a new artist at KAB Gallery Terrigal and soon at our new gallery at Neutral Bay, Dave’s work offers collectors the opportunity to invest in a unique piece of contemporary Australian art. Our new Neutral Bay gallery is a large, beautifully designed space filled with incredible original artworks from Australia's leading contemporary artists. Visitors are always welcome to drop in and explore, or collectors can schedule a private appointment for artwork appraisals, valuations, or restoration assessments.
