1. Floral Paintings 

Flowers, chocolates, and cards are popular gifts to symbolise one’s love and appreciation for their mother or mother figure. The carnation is a type of flower which is particularly symbolic of Mother’s Day, being an American tradition which dates back to the early 1900s. However many types of flowers are typically gifted in Australia. Pink and yellow blooms are very popular depending on the tastes of the individual recipient too.
