(made with watercolour & Inks mounted watercolour paper on a large wooden canvas)
Ode to Sir David Attenborough, I love everything about him and I feel he is an endangered species of human, a man who certainly influenced my life, his voice, gentle nature, passion, dedication, genuine personality, innovation for documentaries for changing the way we experience & learn about flora and fauna and mostly his love for the Natural living world and everything on it. This piece includes his portrait surrounded by nature; I wanted to highlight many creatures, flora and fauna that have been scientifically named after Sir David Attenborough in honour of his lifetime of passion work and achievements.
There are two quotes I really love and I am sure have and will continue to influence my art life. I love creating portraits or images of wildlife to also help people see the beauty and my passion for animals on land or from the sea.
