The magpie, a familiar presence in our backyards and parks, is perched on a modern blue chair, while the lush monstera plant spills vibrantly across the canvas. It’s a scene that feels both stylish and familiar, evoking a relaxed, airy feel of an Australian home where nature is never too far away. I love the way light and shadow play across the composition in both warm and cool tones. The background layers are more obvious in person and they add to its warmth, making it easy to imagine this piece hanging in a coastal home or modern urban apartment.
