Wendy Sharpe
Wendy Sharpe is a well-known Australian artist who lives and works in Sydney and Paris. She is one of Australia’s most awarded artists – The Sulman Prize and finalist twelve times, The Archibald Prize (6 times), two Travelling Scholarships and The Portia Geach and many more. She has also held more than 52 solo exhibitions throughout Australia and internationally. Wendy Sharpe has also been commissioned by the Australian War Memorial as on official Australian War Artist in East Timor in 1999-2000. She also travels extensively and has been awarded many residencies and commissions overseas.
