Francis Giacco

  (1955)

Francis Giacco is a traditional portrait and interior painter. He has studied architecture at the University of New South Wales in 1976 and later attended the Julian Ashton School from 1976 to 1980. He also studied art internationally, particularly in Vienna between 1980 and 1983.

He was the 1994 Archibald Prize WINNER (Art Gallery of New South Wales) with his artwork titled ‘Homage to John Reichhard’.
