Woven into Waves
Oil on Canvas 76x152cm

Katie has been working daily in the studio to create a new series of large scale artworks. While her heart lingers towards smaller canvases, the result of her new large scale challenge is very impressive. From tomorrow KAB Gallery will be showcasing several works including “Eternal Path”. This expressive landscape is composed of wide strokes and layers of luscious colour. The warm tones of the layered paint draw the viewer’s eyes through her process into an “eternal path” of paint.

Oil on Canvas (76x76cm)

Katie Wyatt’s work is an interior designer’s go-to and must-have for colour, texture and contemporary composition. Her refreshing approach to the landscape appears quite abstract while at the same time reminds the eye of distant rural and coastal viewpoints. When gazing into her beautiful work you can feel a sense of serenity and distance from the life most of us know. It provides the perfect escape, and one which you can have on your own walls. Wyatt’s work is sought after for her lavish handling of oil paint, and her harmonious palettes of both warm and cool tones presented within her beautiful compositions. Her paintings are interesting, while the heavy textures create a dimensional focal point to any room.

Katie Wyatt is proudly represented by KAB Gallery and commissions are always welcome. All paintings are framed and ready to display in your space.
