Portrait Commissions

Would you like a portrait painted? Are you looking a special gift for the person who has everything? Or looking for that impressive corporate edge in your office?

Peter Smeeth with his Doug Moran Portrait Prize finalist Tristan

Select from several highly accomplished portrait artists styles and KAB Gallery Director, Kerry-Anne Blanket will assist directly as intermediary between you and the artist to ensure the perfect style and result. Whether you prefer a realist or more expressive portrait, we can help you select the right artist. For portraits, we know that you need an established professional artist already practiced within the genre and part of important collections and/or are winners of important prizes.

Pricing varies depending on the style, level of detail, size, and subject matter.

KAB Gallery will work with you throughout the project so you can always feel comfortable sitting for the artist, know that we are available to discuss any concerns along the way. Feedback is always welcome throughout the process.

Our team can also assist you with framing and coordination of the delivery.

Our stable of portrait artists include:

Mel Bling

Mel Bling creates from her home studio and while she really enjoys the experimental aspects of her practice she also alternates her practice to more conventional methods of wood burning (pyrography), charcoals and oils. Her style is incredibly detailed and amazes viewers. Her finish is chic and stylish. Her favourite palette combinations include, gold, silver and monochromatic greyscale.

Bling’s goal is to resonate with people by connecting them to art they love, and to create works based on positivity

Commissions are welcome. Contact us in the gallery to discuss your next project or email bling@kabgallery.com.au  or call 1300 78 7773 to speak about it over the phone.
