An original oil painting by Sally West, inspired by her painting trip to Australia’s Mt Hotham snowfields. Brightly coloured ski suits contrast with the crisp white snow, creating an amazing vista for the viewer to enjoy. This artwork is one of the first from Sally West’s new Snow Series.

I have painted in extreme heat and in cold rural locations but this is probably the most challenging location I have painted at so far” says Sally West.

The title “Road Runner” was inspired by the popular ski lift featuring in the paintings, which is fondly known by skiers as the Road Runner.
