At 1.5 metres wide and 1 metre high, it makes a statement, without overwhelming the space. This is due partly to Simon’s colour palette but also his ability to showcase the beautiful pops of nature within Sydney, grounding the structural city landscape by painting in the greenery of the trees and adding in some breathing room with the light, clear sky.
