Gillie & Marc’s Paparazzi Dogs in New York…

Gillie and Marc’s Paparazzi dog sculptures are now on show in Dumbo, New York as they travel the world taking snaps of celebrities from Melbourne, Sydney, Singapore, Bejing and Shanghai. Sniffing out Brooklyn’s buzzing art district, DUMBO, “[our] paparazzi dogmen have gone from being an art experiment about photographing celebrities to sought-after celebrities in their own right”!

Our resident Dogman and Rabbitgirl artist’s Gillie and Marc have worked together for over 25 years. Based in Sydney, after meeting in Hong Kong and then marrying a week later in Nepal, Gillie and Marc are creating some of Australia’s most iconic Contemporary art and taking it around the globe. 

The Paparazzi Dogs series was launched in 2013 with the life-sized dog men attracting quite a crowd themselves such as Snoop Dog….or lion at their new home Dumbo, New York. 

Situated at Pearl Street Triangle and Anchorage place, the pap dogs have the most stunning backdrop of Brooklyn, Manhattan Bridge and New York City. Dumbo, which is ‘brimming with chic, vintage style’ will be home for these puppies and we know they’ll exude Gillie & Marc’s joyful, thought-provoking and interactive energy throughout their stay!
