French-born Nadege Lamy immigrated to Australian the eighties and currently lives in the NSW Blue Mountains. In Normandy she attended I’Ecole des Beaux-Arts. While in Paris Nadege worked as a freelance photographer and audio-visual designer primarily on the Formula One racing circuits.
In her early years in Sydney, Nadege ran her own hand-painted T-Shirt business, selling her designs to markets, and for a while worked as a graphic designer at Sydney Botanic Gardens. In 1994 she completed her Bachelor of Visual Arts (UWS Nepean) and has since had 15 solo exhibitions and numerous group shows. Over the years she has exhibited as a finalist in numerous art prizes, including the Blake Art Prize and Mosman Art Prize, and has won a few along the way with her distinctive and captivating abstract work.
